About The Site

In the summer of 2007, I purchased jecordone.com. I'm thinking it was July or August, but I'm not totally sure, so don't quote me on it. It was, and is, a personal domain featuring my writing, and me, of course. It's also been, since it's creation, coupled with a blog that I'm much better at updating nowadays. :)

The first layout was a basic, not very creative thing that I liked at first, but quickly tired of. Of course, I didn't change it for a long time. It consisted of three different CSS files and was very blue and white.

About the Current Layout

The current layout was a very blue design featuring words magically being pulled out of a book - it's still got the book (you can tell that's a book right? I hope so) and the magic, but not so much the blue. I wasn't using web safe colors, and they converted. Eh. It's still nice.

I used three different fonts for the content (Georgina, Arial and Verdana),and the fonts Asenine and Bebas for the title graphic (and Bebas for the "back to top" links at the bottom of some of the pages), which were downloaded from Dafont.com. Both the Dafont fonts were free, so you can head on over there and download them yourself if you like them.

Past Layouts

Blue Journal (featured above right): BJ was the title of jecordone.com's first ever layout.

It was divided into three seperate templates, all of which centered around one design. Each template had it's own CSS file - they were a pain to create, let me tell you.

About Me

I'm an aspiring young adult author, who writes mostly urban fantasy and fantasy. In my spare time I enjoy web design and reading.

Frequently Asked Questions

You asked, I answered. If you have a question that isn't addressed here, feel free to send an e-mail to jennie cordone at comcast dot net, with "FAQ" in the subject line.

What font did you use for (insert part of site here)? I get this question most often. The answer is now above, in the "About the Current Layout" sub-section.

Who designed your website, how can I get one? I designed this site myself. I purchased the domain through GoDaddy.com. If you're not looking to buy a site though, there are plenty of free ones (like Geocities). Just do a Google search.

Will you design my site? I'm sorry, but currently, I don't have the time. You wouldn't want me to do it anyway, I'm really new at this.

Can we exchange links? As long as your site, if it were a movie, wouldn't be rated above PG-13, sure. Just e-mail me.
